Can you verify the method DoWorkAsync? The condition if (1== 0) , probably was introduced for testing purposes and remained in the code.

It appears my problem is related to add the background tasks on the application service project instead of a separate project.

Any guide/ sample on how to have the background workers on a separate project in .net 5 ?

Seems there is a performance issue in .net 5.1. Have found out this error happens when I have 20 + api calls concurrently.

Have been experiencing significant performance issues since I moved to abp 5. When I used abp 3.2 everything was fast.

In .net 5 when my api get 20 api calls, iis cpu hits 100 %

Note: I created a new project for abp 5.1

It appears when moving from 5.1 and not using the payment module, all change are on blazor ?

I crested a new blazor app. Used abp suite to add some entities.

Deployed on iis. Worked well for one month. Then all over sudden, 6 hours every day in the morning. The Application stops responding.

IIS cpu utilisation is at 100 %.

Then later on everything goes back to normal
