I'd like either an improved version of chat module or guide on customizing it. Default version is nice for demo but we should be able to customize things like:

  • Who can users search for, and in which tenant(s). For example, we might want to only allow chat between existing tenant or only to open chat with HOST tenant users
  • Groups and roles. For example, customer service group that is a shared inbox for a group of users. Customer roles should be only able to open chat with this roles, not every other client

Lan will continue with this topic, but sidenote for the purpose: we need to monitor log files for errors because most SaaS users do not report errors they encounter. For example, some may take the free trial, encounter a problem and abandon the app without reporting. Our testing might not find the error because the user may have some unconventional use cases. So, we should monitor all logs to find out unreported exceptions and errors.

Currently, we have a few types of regular errors in log files after version upgrade that might or might not immediately affect the UI but make monitoring difficult unless we fix the cause, or at least can find why it never matters.

What is the best way to purge logs? Can one just delete the data from the tables? As I understand, there is no periodic removal of audit logs in ABP.io Commercial yet. Are there plans for it?

Are there any or plans to provide Figma, Adobe XD or any other mockup tool templates for ABP or ABP.io commercial? It would be very important for the planning phase.
