Kolibree-Tech, a technology company based in Italy, specializes in building web applications with complex multitenancy needs. As a solo development-led organization, their focus lies in rapidly prototyping and deploying enterprise-grade solutions with modular and scalable design. Over the past 1–2 years, Kolibree-Tech has leveraged the ABP Framework to develop efficient, feature-rich applications with a high degree of flexibility and control.
Kolibree-Tech needed a solution for managing multi-tenant applications, handling feature and edition control, and ensuring all of this could be done in a modular, replicable way. Building such infrastructure manually would be time-consuming, complex, and prone to inconsistency—especially with limited internal resources.
After exploring different tools and technologies, Kolibree-Tech adopted the ABP Framework (via ASP.NET Zero) for its modular microservice architecture, multi-tenancy management, and rapid development capabilities. The framework allowed the team to define and manage tenants, features, and editions with granular precision, while using technologies like Angular, Entity Framework Core, and PostgreSQL. ABP’s structured layers, integrated identity and permission system, and seamless front-end integration significantly reduced the time required to build and deploy Minimum Viable Products. In fact, development time was reduced by nearly 30% compared to previous methods.
ABP enabled Kolibree-Tech to accelerate the development and deployment of its commercial services. With the framework’s features, the team efficiently built several multi-tenant enterprise applications which is freeing them to focus on core business logic instead of repetitive infrastructure code.
