  • Steps to reproduce the issue: ran existing yaml pipeline to deploy the product service on a linux cloud machine. the pipelines are in used since more than 6 months and used work till date, is now giving nuget.abp.io related above errors. URGENT attention needed.

We have also been unable to produce builds all day. The lack of response here is a serious problem. This has been going on for the entire work day in the US

Our builds failed this morning also with 403 errors to https://nuget.abp.io error NU1301: Unable to load the service index for source https://nuget.abp.io/279c47a6-5d3a-4bdb-9bb1-a18ff6f70b96/v3/index.json. error NU1301: Response status code does not indicate success: 403 (Forbidden).

Building locally in VS gave me a prompt where my normal ABP creds worked and the build started fine so looks like the ABP nuget source now requires authentication.

Would be nice to know if this is an intended change and we need to update the build scripts to provide credentials or not.

We are also experiencing the same issue. We were prompted today to login to nuget.abp.io

We enter the credentials, and when trying to run the application we receive an error to login: ABP-LIC-ERROR - License check failed for 'Volo.Payment.Domain-v5.1.3.0'. You need to log in using the command abp login <username>.

When we try to login with abp login: ABP CLI 9.0.0

    1. HTTP request attempt failed to https://abp.io/api/license/check-multiple-organizations? with an error: 403-Forbidden. Waiting 2 secs for the next try...

We have multiple abp commercial products with varying versions, all experiencing the same problem.

Thanks, Yes it is resolved. But what we need to do in case if we are in middle of production build and these kind of issues comes. we have not seen any immediate response or a way to reach you in emergency cases.

Hello, I would also like to find out the impact of such downtime, is it only for accessing the abp CLI and abp studio, or does it affect the solution as well? Including deployed versions of the solution to a production environment?

As a commercial licensed company, we need resolutions to such issues as we in an industry that cannot afford any downtime, just curious if this is a regular occurance.

    Thanks!

We will take extra action so as not to face this problem again. You can send an email to support@abp.io when you need help. I appreciate your understanding 🙏

I have to agree with @smansuri on this - abp.io needs a much better support strategy, as we pay a lot for the licensing and we entrust abp.io to have a higher uptime with a speedy resolution time as well

With all due respect what i mean to say we are not worry about security as you are taking care of it. What i'm worried about is the case in terms of system usability issue in general which can be anything case to case basis where we are not able to proceed further and we need immediate attention from abp. How abp is going to help us in this kind of scenarios in terms of support? if you can help us in that manner we would be glad.

In the event of a critical scenario on your system, it is imperative that you take additional precautions to ensure that your development & deployment processes are not hindered. A significant number of projects rely on a variety of resources, including NuGet, NPM, GitHub, Docker Hubs, and CDN assets like fonts and images. These systems are the environmental resources on which we all depend. Any blocking situation on them can result in significant delays to deployment & development. Therefore, as a system owner, you should have backup plans in place. There may be instances of unwanted interruptions in systems such as nuget.abp.io, nuget.org, and npmjs.org outages. In such cases, you should back up all your NPM and NuGet packages on your local server.

As for ABP, we enhanced the security measures in ABP.io yesterday to prevent any further outages. We are here to help you in any case, even if it is not directly related to ABP. If you have a problem, send us an email to support@abp.io. Our team will respond promptly to assist you.
