Deploying MVC Tiered into Virtual Directory #1048

I am trying to deploy a Tiered MVC into an Azure virtual directory but I am facing the below issue. Does ABP support deployment to Virtual Directory?

    Did you check DbMigrator appsettings aswell? Probably they are left with dev settings still which causes dev configuration seeding.

    Also, please share the identityserver logs to diagnose better.

    Below the settings for identity server for your reference. It was updated prior to the deployment

    Is there a way for me to upload file or any support email which I can forward the log file to? The Log file size is quite large at around 44mb.

    You can search for [ERR] in the logs and paste latest identity server log lines includes unauthorized_client .

    Remove https://abpapidev.azurewebsites.net/agent from allowed cors origins in your appsettings. https://abpapidev.azurewebsites.net is enough.

    [ERR] client_id is missing or too long

    Your client_id may be mismatching with the one in your database. Since you obscured even the identityserver end point, I have no idea. Identityserver is meant to be public.

    Remove https://abpapidev.azurewebsites.net/agent from allowed cors origins in your appsettings. https://abpapidev.azurewebsites.net is enough.

    I have managed to deploy into virtual directory. Others than the settings in appsettings.json file, would need to update the Cors in database as well.

    After we have successfully deployed into the virtual directory, there are 2 challenges that we face as below

    • Manually adding the "~" symbol to Url
    • Adding the virtual directory path in Html Header

    Is there any best practice or universal method that we can maintain the Virtual directory path value?

    all the existing ABP modules will automatically be updated but for your custom code, you still need to do that. also you can execute abp.appPath = '~/' or abp.appPath = /your-directory-name/ in a global javascript file.
