  Hi,

  No, there's no built-in "per-tenant AI Workspace" feature. AI Management is a host-level module — workspaces (and their data sources, MCP servers and indexed documents) aren't multi-tenant entities, so they're global records managed from the host and shared across tenants. This is by design, not a configuration you can switch on.

  Hi maliming, thanks for the reply. I unterstood, if so the AI Management menù in admin console should be visible only for the host (like the SaaS menù). I tried to revoke permissions but the tenant admin can reenabled them. Also if i need to use different api key for my single workspace (different per tenant), i need to create N workspace with different api key or it is possible to use programmaticaly the api key per tenant? Thanks in advance.

  Hi Mailiming, i saw the mail with the details. For point 1: great, thanks for the code and the info. For point 2: also i want to use different workspace for tenant, but i can't see a permission level for tenant (only user, role or client) in AI Workspace permissions. Did i do something wrong?

  Hi,

  Two clarifications on point 2:

  1) The Permissions dialog

  The Target dropdown (User / Role / Client) is ABP's standard resource permission management UI — it applies to all resource permissions across the framework, not just AI Workspace. ABP doesn't have a "Tenant" target type, so you didn't do anything wrong.

  2) Per-tenant workspace usage

  This is the deeper question. The AI Management module is designed as a host-level module — Workspace isn't a multi-tenant entity and the workspace lookup doesn't take the current tenant into account. So "different workspace per tenant" isn't something the current design directly supports, regardless of how permissions are granted. My earlier suggestion about scoping per tenant via the Consume permission doesn't really hold under this design.

  This is an important design point, so we'd like to discuss it internally with the team before giving you a concrete recommendation. We'll get back to you shortly.
