We don't familiar with MongoDB, You can create a sample project with ef core.
The changes from 3.x to 7.x is too heavly.
I suggest you create a new 7.0x project and check&compare the code.

You can override the Account/ForgotPassword
and disable the csrf. But its not recommended,

You are using ef core 6.x, have you tried the ef core 7?
