Hello support team,
we'd like to create a news page where we can draft and publish news articles. We were looking at abp modules which might help us implement that feature and were thinking of using the CMS Kit Pro. How would we implement it when using the microservice template with react? Would we have to create the frontend on our own or are there already some examples we can use? Or is the CMS Kit not ready for the modern templates and we should create our own CMS?
Our solution configuration:
Hello,
I have added OpenSearch to my project and am using it in one of my new microservices. For the data I use a docker volume. In ABP Studio when I stop or restart the OpenSearch container or the new microservice, the volume still exists. When I stop all containers it deletes all volumes.
Is it possible to not delete the volumes or atleast not the OpenSearch volume when I stop all containers? We're importing and indexing about 15 million datasets and even when I only import a part of it, it takes a long time. That's why I want the volume to persist.
My docker compose file:
volumes:
meinwerk_opensearchdata:
networks:
meinwerk:
external: true
services:
opensearch:
container_name: opensearch
image: opensearchproject/opensearch:2.19.0
volumes:
- meinwerk_opensearchdata:/usr/share/opensearch/data
networks:
- meinwerk
environment:
- discovery.type=single-node
- DISABLE_INSTALL_DEMO_CONFIG=true
- DISABLE_SECURITY_PLUGIN=true
- "OPENSEARCH_JAVA_OPTS=-Xms512m -Xmx512m"
- bootstrap.memory_lock=true
ulimits:
memlock:
soft: -1
hard: -1
nofile:
soft: 65536
hard: 65536
ports:
- "9201:9200"
My down.ps1:
docker-compose -f containers/elasticsearch.yml down
docker-compose -f containers/opensearch.yml down
docker-compose -f containers/kibana.yml down
docker-compose -f containers/prometheus.yml down
docker-compose -f containers/rabbitmq.yml down
docker-compose -f containers/redis.yml down

Current solution configuration:
Hello support team,
I have created a new entity "WorkItem" by using the ABP Suite. One of the properties of that entity is "AssignedUserId" which is a Guid. The AssignedUserId would be filled with the ID of an AbpUser. For the list-function I want to return the name instead of the ID of the user so that I can display the user name in the frontend.
How would I add a reference in Abp Suite between WorkItem and the Identity service?
I checked "Include entities from ABP modules" but couldn't select Identity:

Do I have to add a package to my WorkItem service before I can reference AbpUsers?
Current solution configuration:
Hello support team,
we started working on our own React frontend for ABP but we've seen that the official React UI for ABP is currently available as a RC. We'd like to switch to the official React UI instead of building our own.
While I created a new solution (with microservices) with the new React UI, I am currently not entirely sure what the usual work flow would be when I want to add a new microservice and new pages to the frontend. Will there be tutorial videos or new guides in the documentation section in the future once the React UI releases?
A full step-by-step guide what to do after the creation of the solution would be really helpful. (from creating a new microservice to adding the new page to the frontend)
Hello everyone,
we've updated the ABP Studio to the latest version (3.0.1) which now has AI features builtin. As of now we are not allowed to use AI or tools which use AI because of security reasons. Is it or will it be possible to disable the AI features in ABP Studio?
Solution Info just in case
Hello,
currently I am encountering some errors/problems when using the ABP Studio or Suite.

It's not always blocked by another process but when it creates the new project I am not entirely sure wether all files were created correctly or still blocked by another process. I've created the project with the following options:

Build failed. Use dotnet build to see the errors.
In the microservice project in the ProcessServiceDbContext.cs this first line was added, which symbol cannot be resolved:
using MeinTestDemoWerk.ProcessService.Processes;
Once I delete this line, the project looks fine but when I "save and generate" in the ABP Suite again, the line is being added again. I tried finding the specific template which might add this line but I wasn't able to find it.
Are there maybe any know issues for both problems or are there some configurations I have to adjust?
