Hi ABP Support Team,
Our ABP Team License subscription for Whitecap Canada Inc. is coming up for renewal. When we attempt to renew, the portal is calculating the renewal for 10 developers total (the Team License includes 3 seats + 7 additional developer seats) and quoting a total renewal price of $5,192 (as shown in the attached screenshots).
We want to confirm why the renewal requires payment for the full 10 seats at once, without any proration or credit for additional developer seats that were purchased recently. Based on our invoice history, some of the additional developer licenses were purchased/extended in late 2025 and early 2026, so we expected those seats to be prorated (or credited) as part of the renewal rather than being renewed for a full term again.
Could you please clarify:
- Whether additional developer seats purchased mid-term are supposed to be prorated/credited at renewal, and if so, why are we not seeing that reflected in the quote?
- How ABP handles renewals when additional seats were added at different times (ex: co-terming vs. separate renewal dates).
- Whether you can provide a revised quote or breakdown showing any applicable credits/proration for the recently purchased seats.
I’ve attached screenshots of the renewal quote and our invoice list for reference.
Thanks,
