Hello ABP Support Team,

After updating our ABP framework to version 9.3.3 and upgrading the Blazorise packages to version 1.8.2, we started noticing an unwanted message appearing occasionally on our application’s UI. Please see the attached screenshot for reference:

The message says:

"Thank you for using the free version of the Blazorise component library! We're happy to offer it to you for personal use. If you'd like to remove this message, consider purchasing a commercial license from https://blazorise.com/commercial. We appreciate your support!"

This message did not appear before the recent updates. It is disruptive for our users and affects the professional look of our application.

Could you please advise:

  • Why is this message now appearing after the update?
  • Is there a way to suppress or remove it, especially since it wasn't present in previous versions?

We would really appreciate your help in resolving this issue, as it is impacting our users’ experience and did not occur before the update. Ideally, we need to restore the previous behavior where this message was not displayed.

We look forward to your response and solution.

    • The message you are seeing is displayed by the free version of the Blazorise component library starting from certain versions. This is a new behavior introduced by Blazorise to encourage commercial licensing for professional or commercial use.
    • After updating to Blazorise 1.8.2, this notification is now shown by default in applications that do not use a commercial Blazorise license. This is not controlled by ABP, but by Blazorise itself.
    • In previous versions, this message was not present, which is why you did not see it before the update.

To remove or suppress this message:

    • You must purchase a commercial license for Blazorise and configure your application to use the commercial license key as described in the Blazorise documentation.
    • There is no supported or legal way to suppress this message in the free version for commercial/professional use.

If you wish to restore the previous behavior (no message), you would need to downgrade to a Blazorise version before this change, but this is not recommended or supported for long-term projects.

This response is unsatisfactory. When we acquired the ABP commercial license, there was no indication or prerequisite for obtaining a Blazorise commercial license.

We request a specific solution to this problem.
