I want to render a ViewComponent from an AJAX call dynamically. The type of ViewComponent to render is determined at runtime on the server, and an AJAX fetch will render it. What is the best way to do this in the realm of ABP?
In a part of the application that we are building with ABP Commercial, pages render data dynamically based on a presentation template selected at run time. Those templates target different database tables for data storage. Therefore, our controller uses a Dictionary<TKey, TValue> of Function Delegations to return the table name and/or data. What do you advice on Direct Table access alongside the Repository in ABP.

Thanks!
I want to add LastName field to IdentityUser table. Additionally, I want to make Surname field to appear as Middle Name just on the UI. The documentation might look enough for these, but finally, in the registration page, I want these three to appear in the order: Name, Middle Name (Surname), Last Name. More insights are welcome.
Thanks in advance!
The application we build (with ABP commercial) supports a feature where users (employees) posses a set of private pages (private site). The "private sites" are accessed with a handle like an @ sign after or before the domain or website address, like www.website.com/@handle or handle@www.website.com. This might be a general ASP.NET Core issue but ABP might have paved a wonderful approach touching on the middleware. I need some important advice on how to do this, best practices and example code.
Thanks in advance!
ABP Version 10.3 MVC UI Tiered
I want to make some image processing on user supplied images, like compression, background removal, and place them on a canvas. I want some advice before I take over the job, especially how much third party tool integration is supported in ABP for this.
I want a background job to make retina images of the supplied image file, two times the size of the image. I want to make this as a scheduled task to take place at night time (for any timezone). What do you advice me before I start the task.
Thanks!
My Person entity extends Identity User entity by 1-to-1 relationship. The .AuthServer project is separate with a tiered architecture. How to make use of Distributed Event Bus to create the Person table row automatically when Identity User is created?
I have a special purpose *.web project called SecondaryUI.web that is ABP prefigured and File Management Pro installed. The entire solution is a Tiered architecture and there is no Multi-Tenancy. SecondaryUI.web application is client to the main host application (AuthServer and HttpApi.Host remote API service). I want each user of SecondaryUI.web to have a dedicated directory in the main Host Application where they store their data. I want to limit storage size for such users. I have a few questions as such:
I want to extend the Identity Users table by adding more profile information. I also want to remove some fields like Surname. Finally, I want to collect the new profile fields in a new tab in the profile editor window.
How to add an Additional *.Web project that is ABP Reconfigured in an existing, Tiered ABP Solution. The Additional ABP project should point to AuthServer and HttpApi.Host services that are already available in the solution.
