⏺ Yes, the dropdown clear issue is an ABP OOTB bug. The original ABP index.js (lines 351-368 in the decompiled version) uses the exact same .val("") for the select elements — so even without our override, the dropdowns wouldn't clear.

Found an issue when upgrading one our sites (Nimble). I asked AI to compare Nimble to another site: Zipline which is 10.3 and does not exhibit the issue

Found the answer. Nimble has Volo.Abp.Identity.Pro.Web — Zipline does not.

Nimble is an MVC/Razor project, so it includes the Identity Pro Web module which serves the Razor-based admin pages (ClaimTypes,
Roles, Users, etc.) using jQuery DataTables. Zipline is an Angular project — it only has Volo.Abp.Identity.Pro.HttpApi and renders
those same admin pages using Angular components (no jQuery DataTables at all).

The duplicate pager is a DataTables layout issue specific to the Razor admin pages. Zipline doesn't have it because it doesn't use
those pages — identity management in Zipline is all Angular UI.

That said, the double pager is still likely an OOTB issue in ABP 10.3's Razor Identity pages (DataTables 2.x layout change).

we upgraded our websites to 10.2 and angular 21. we noticed that advanced filters is not opening up. we use AI to track it down and it came back with:

Bug: ABP's AdvancedEntityFiltersToggleComponent (in @volo/abp.commercial.ng.ui@10.2.0) declares both:

• expanded = model(false) — a model signal with implicit output "expandedChange"
• expandedChange = output() — an explicit output with the same name

Angular's parseAndConvertOutputsForDefinition inverts the outputs map { classProperty: alias } → {
alias: classProperty }. When two class properties map to the same alias, the last one wins. So
def.outputs["expandedChange"] resolves to the explicit output() property (which is never emitted)
instead of the model signal (which toggle() updates). The two-way binding [(expanded)] never receives events, filtersHidden never changes, and ngbCollapse stays closed.

Fix: The patch-package patch removes the redundant expandedChange = output() declaration, allowing
the model signal's implicit output to work correctly. The patch is in angular/patches/@volo+abp.commercial.ng.ui+10.2.0.patch and will be auto-applied on yarn install via the postinstall script.

in the past the update tool only updates the backend. i want to see the an ootb solution for frontend, trouble shooting and what happens if we want to create a new site? the abp update only affected the backend

Trying to create a new 10.2 solution. i have tried both studio and the cli. Both generate a 10.1.1 solution. if i use the cli in a 10.1.1 solution and say abp update it upgrades the backend to 10.2.

i'm on a mac, and my boss is on windows.

i removed both the cli and studio and reinstalled fresh, no luck

we use the new ootb solution as a guide. also we want to know what is the frontend angular version. hoping it is 22

so i do not need to change this line: installdir_update="${installdir}/Update.exe"

This ticket (below) details how for Windows set up our environment for 0.9.8. Is there a script for mac? we converted the ps1 script to bash, but the url is pointing to windows and and another line pointing at an exe.

I read the article. that is what I am doing. it works great if you just send a file to the endpoint. if you send more than just a file, it does not work. that is why u need to add the special binder
